Orthotics can work wonders on everything from heel pain to foot ulcers
Do you suffer from any of these foot problems?
- Painful callouses
- Diabetic foot ulcerations
- Sore bones on the bottom of your feet
- Big toe joint and lesser toe joint pain
- Arch and instep pain
- Ankle pain
- Heel pain
If you do, orthotics could be just what you need. Many problems in the knees, hips and back can be linked to the mechanics in the foot. By correcting the position of the foot with orthotics (designed to reduce the strain on injured areas so they can heal, and, help prevent future problems), I can reduce, and even eliminate, the pain you have right now.
I can fit you with the latest custom-made and off-the-shelf orthotic solutions.
Off-the-shelf orthotics are often all you need for short-term conditions like plantar fascitis or tendinitis. That’s why I stock a range of high-quality Formthotics in many shapes and sizes and levels of control that can be modified on the spot to suit your feet. But if you suffer a long-term condition such as over pronation and hyper mobility, custom-made orthotics that won’t compress may be a better option. These are made using a plaster cast impression of your foot and come in a range of top covers to be less obvious.
